Nigerian Dwarf and Pygmy Goats

TESTED CAE and CL NEGATIVE  August 2009!

Welcome to Dolly's Acre

We are located between Shelocta and Apollo in a tiny little village called Girty. A very rural area with numerous back roads leading to my little hillside. As my herd has increased so has the milk, these little does have really outdone themselves in the years that they have freshened and so has my creativity in using it!

My little hobby of pygmy and nigerian dwarf cross mini goats started in 2000 with my first doe, Bootsie. As I had been raised around the larger dairy goats I knew that I wanted the mini's from the start. I added an unregistered pygmy doe, who I named Dolly, in the Spring of 2001 and a nigi/pygmy cross buck in the Summer of 2001. At that time my hobby become something for all to enjoy as the first kids born here were to arrive in Spring of 2002.

My farm name and official herd name, Dollys Acre ,is in the memory of My Dolly, sadly after trying to give me another year of sweet milk and twin doelings, she crossed the Rainbow Bridge just 6 years after she came to me, she will live on in the names of any registered kids born here.
